Fireplaces burning bright, trees beautifully decorated, cookies in the oven; what says Christmas to you? To me, it is all the beautiful acts of service. People are smiling, giving generously, and looking for opportunities to be a little more kind all around. As we serve, we feel closer to Christ allowing us to celebrate Christmas for all the right reasons.
Make your Christmas less about the stress and more about service this year with the Christ-like Christmas Service packet. It includes hundreds of ideas and over 40 pages to help you fill your Christmas season with acts of love. Perfect to do as a family or for date night! From bag toppers to gift tags and candy wrappers, you and your family will discover just what you need to compliment your acts of kindness.
How It Works
1. Start with planning your service activities!
There are pages of service ideas to get you brainstorming towards what is right for you and your family. Plant candy canes in your neighbor's yard, bring a stash of snacks to those stuck in meetings all day on Sunday, or find time to volunteer at your local food bank. Use the calendar and Christmas countdown to organize your plans and get your family excited.
2. Issue the Challenge and Get to Work!
The great thing about service is that every age can do SOMETHING. Get your whole family involved- wherever they are. You can even create a Facebook group for your family to keep tabs on each other and share your photos. You will also discover a Service Bingo card in this packet. Give one to each person or fill it out as a family. On Christmas Eve you can place it under your tree as your gift to Christ or plan a fun Christmas party when you get a Bingo!
3. Remember to Capture the Memories
As you go about your different acts of service, remember to bring your camera. People glow and smile more when they are serving which makes for the best photos. Don't we all need more memories to keep us warm? On Christmas day put your photos up on your TV and remember all the good times with your family. Share how you felt, what your favorite part was, and what things you definitely want to do again next year.
There are 9 pages of ideas plus over 30 pages of printables to help you serve. You will find:
- Sheets to keep you organized and motivated
- Gift tags, Thank You notes, Random Acts of Kindness notes, Christmas stationery
- Candy wrappers, bottle wrappers, and wrappers for other types of treats
- Lunch bag designs, sticky note designs, awards
- Christmas countdown cards and more!
It will have you ready to serve in no time and may even help you cross off a few things on your gift list- bonus!
If you were to divide up all the printables in this fabulous packet you could easily spend $35 on it. WHAT? How about I give it to you for 80% less instead?
