Our kids are older now. The days of packing an entire church bag full of snacks, crayons, quiet toys, and emergency fruit snacks are mostly behind us. But every week at church we have a little boy who comes and sits by us. And he comes for one reason. He knows we have the good stuff: markers and unique coloring pages. But he always has one request: “Do you have any dinosaur ones?”

Of course, we made some! Not just dinosaurs, but gospel dinosaur coloring pages that kids can bring to church or use during General Conference. Because sometimes the best way to help a kid listen is to give their hands something good to do.

Save it for later, pin it now

Coloring is simple, but it works. It slows kids down and helps them sit in one place. And it gives them something quiet to focus on while they listen. We’ve watched it happen week after week. The moment a child gets a fresh coloring page and a marker, everything settles down a bit. And dinosaurs help. Because if you’re six years old, dinosaurs automatically make everything better.

These pages are especially good for General Conference weekend. Conference is wonderful. We love it. But for younger kids it can also feel… long. A few simple activities can change the whole experience. So go ahead and print a few dinosaur coloring pages (and some of our other General Conference activities).

If Your Kids Love Dinosaurs…

You might also like Dino Goes to General Conference. It’s a dinosaur-themed activity notebook designed to help younger kids follow along during Conference. There are coloring pages, activities, and simple prompts that help them notice what’s happening. It turns Conference into something they get to participate in, not just something they have to sit through.

Or try our giant activity poster full of animals heading to the Conference Center. Kids can color the whole thing while they listen. You can put it on the table, the floor, or wherever your kids tend to gather during Conference weekend. It’s amazing how much longer kids will sit when there’s a giant coloring poster involved.
