Okay, you are ready to have a bunch of Family Date Nights to encourage fun, bonding, and gospel learning but now where do you put everything until you are ready to do them all? A binder is a simple solution to help keep things organized and easy to grab when you need it. Use these free printables to assemble your Family Date Night binder.

Save it for later, pin it now!

It’s easy to put off your Family Date Night when you don’t have everything ready. A binder makes it easy to print everything, assemble it, and keep it safe and organized so when you are ready, you simply have to grab it and go. When assembling your binder, You will also want to grab some plastic sheet protectors to put all the assembled pieces in as well as dividers to easily find the date night you want (These dividers also have pockets to help store everything). If you want to go out for ice cream after or include extras in your family date night, glue an envelope to each divider (or use the pocket ones) and put some money inside now so you don’t have to worry when it’s time.

In your free Family Date Night binder kit you will find

  • Front and back covers- You know I had to stick with the chicken theme (see why below).

  • Spine insert- these work best if you print them on card stock. If they get stuck, use a ruler to help encourage it down further.

  • Quick and Fun Come, Follow Me ideas- more ideas to keep the fun going even when you don’t have the time for a whole Family Date Night.

  • Memory page- rate the date, draw a picture or glue on a photo, and record your favorite parts.

One of the reasons why I’ve stuck with my crazy chicken name is because of the imagery of a hen gathering her chicks around her for safekeeping. In Doctrine and Covenants 10:65-66 it states,

For, behold, I will gather them as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if they will not harden their hearts;

Yea, if they will come, they may, and partake of the waters of life freely.

Family Date Nights are one way we can gather our family together and help them partake of the living water.

You Family Date Night binder can become a family keepsake too as you use the memory sheet included in this printable. Print one for each date night you are planning to do so you can record your experience when you finish. Rate each one by coloring in the stars and record your favorite parts including how you strengthened your testimonies.

Pssstt… keeping track of your favorite date nights also helps you know which ones would make a great gift for another family (Christmas and Easter are great times to give these!).
