Faith like Daniel — “Heaven’s help is real”
We all love the story of the brave Daniel who goes into the lion’s den. He had the faith pray openly despite consequences and faith to withstand the lion’s den no matter what would happen. Grab some lion themed treats or focus more on a faith focused gift.
Lion Candy Bars- While we don't see them in the grocery stores in the US, you can get them online.
Circus animal cookies- you're bound to find in a lion in there. Animal crackers are also a good fit.
Lion socks- Socks are always a good idea in our home. These are a fun pair that can help them remember Daniel each time they wear them. BOM Socks also has a pair that is specifically for Daniel.
Lion keychains are a fun option if you have a bigger crowd. Kids love adding them to their backpacks.
Focus on the faith part and ponder some promises from God with this coloring book.
Our scripture marking pencils also make a great match as it include a bookmark with some amazing scriptures to highlight.
Walk like Enoch — “God makes you able”
Enoch is all the talk in 2026 since the youth them is “Walk with Me” from Moses 6:34. The beautiful thing about walking with Christ is that He makes us more than able and leads us safely to our ultimate destination- to live with Heavenly Father again.
- Trail mix or granola bars pair well especially if you hand them out before you go for a walk/hike.
- Fruit by the foot hints toward feet walking as well.
- Snag our Ministering Socks for cozy combination.
- Why not go with shoelaces? You can grab this box of multi-colored shoelaces for a whole slew of fun. Or you can go with the engraved shoelace tag instead.
- You can also get gummies shaped as feet. These come as a bulk bag so you'll have to package them up but that just means you can make it extra cute.
- A compass also pairs well plus you can do some fun activities with them.
- Our Faith to Move Mountains sticker is a excellent combo too as Enoch literally moved mountains with the Lord.
Courage like Esther — “You were made for this”
You’ve got to love the story of Esther who risked her life to speak up for her people and save their lives. Here are few gifts to pair with her Old Testament treat tag:
- Ring pops are definitely royal and make a great pairing.
- Design your own crowns with these scratch off paper ones. Of course, you can go with the classic plastic princess tiara too.
- Pair your treat tags with some crown crazy straws for a fun twist.
- A little crochet affirmation queen would be so cute with the Esther tag.
- Courage stones pair well too.
Strong like Jael — “Stand up and act”
Jael’s action saved so many people. She was willing to do what was needful even though it was probably hard.
- Give them something to write those promptings down with sticky notes or our A Pocket Full of Personal Revelation notebook.
- Wood Round Tuit Tokens are a great reminder to act and not wait.
- Pretzels rods can give you that tent peg look, even better if you dip them in chocolate.
- Try some protein snacks for that strong, full of energy vibe. Make some energy bites or grab some beef sticks.
Trust like Joseph — “God is still with you”
Joseph went through so many trails. You would think being sold as a slave would be hard enough but then to be found in prison as well. Yet Joseph kept relying on the Lord. Joseph trusted the Lord’s bigger picture and so can we.
- Rainbow colored foods tie into the Joseph's coat of many colors. You can use twisty rainbow lollipops, colorful fruit snacks, or even rainbow goldfish.
- Some Hershey's Kisses can be a sweet addition and reminder that God cares and stays by you.
- Our Walk with Me silicone bands include a little part that says "Never Alone"- a great reminder to trust God and remember He is still with us.
- These little Jesus figures would make a great set too.
Bold like Joshua — “Choose the Lord”
Joshua was afraid to tell the people what was right and what was right. He boldly declared truth and invited everyone to choose the Lord, not worldly, temporary pleasures.
- Get a morse code bracelet that says "Choose Joy" since Jesus Christ brings us the ultimate joy.
- Potatoes and Jesus sticker. Sometimes you really do get to have two great things but if you had to choose, of course, we’d choose Jesus.
- Try adding candy that gives people two options like a Twix bar, Swedish Fish and Friends, or two Hi-Chew flavors.
- Grab some magnets with the ends clearly label and show how we can choose to move closer to Christ or push ourselves away.
- Or go with the bold theme and pair this cute tag with a box of bold colored markers.
Brave like Moses — “Walk on dry ground”
We all know the story of Moses parting the Red Sea. Moses was hesitant to go in front of the Pharoah at first but ultimately, look what he was able to do with the Lord.
- You can go with either the water theme or dry ground. Try some snacks like:
- Goldfish
- Pirate's Booty
- GoGo Squeeze Fruitz (Underwater species)
- Seaweed
- Graham crackers or really any type of cracker that reminds you of sand.
- Rock candy would be an excellent pairing as well.
- How about pairing it with some colored sand for arts and crafts or get some kinetic sand for a fun afternoon.
Steady like Ruth — “Where you go, I’ll go”
After Ruth’s husband died, she could have returned to her people, but she knew that wasn’t the right path for her. She chose to stay with her mother-in-law and serve the Lord.
- Think of any twisted together foods like Twizzlers (the pull 'n' peel ones drive this point home a little more) or even pretzel twists.
- Or if you want to go with the steady theme and don't mind a bigger family gift, pair it with stepping balance stones or even a balance board.
- A rope is another thing that is twisted together. Gift it for some backyard fun, before you learn some knot tying, or even some crafting.
- Any heart food would pair nicely as well as Ruth show loyal love to God and Naomi.
- Friendship bracelets would be a cute addition to this card too.
Hope like Sarah — “The timing can surprise you”
We can only imagine how often Sarah wonder why she couldn’t have children. Yet, she still believed and chose God resulting in a child at the most unexpected time.
- Since we're talking about timing, a clock or watch makes a great match.
- Fun things with a hidden surprise inside would be a cute addition. Try bath bombs with toys inside or a chocolate egg with a toy inside. If you're using this tag for Easter, dragon eggs are a hit with kids and could be added to your egg hunt.
- Seeds work well as it takes time to grow and you never know quite when they will pop up and fully form. We like this colorful sunflower pack.
Print your Old Testament treat cards to pass out at Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, or whenever you feel like your family could use a little extra cheer.
