Thanks for joining me on this great Easter photo challenge that the church is doing as we prepare for Easter! Today's photo challenge is "#BecauseofHim I can be a better son or daughter." Here's my picture that I have been sharing today on my social media accounts:

#Because of Him I can be a better daughter

As I was thinking about ways that I've learned to be a better daughter most of it for me right now is wrapped up in my experiences of being a Mom. My daughters have taught me many, many humbling lessons over the years. However, it is #BecauseofHim that I can actually be a better daughter. Jesus Christ atoned for my sins so that I may repent and become clean again. Every day is truly a new beginning. Every morning I wake up thinking about how today is a fresh new day- yesterday is gone, today can be different, today can be better, today can be great. I know through the enabling power of the atonement that if I struggle through the day, He will help me forge on. He will give me the strength, comfort, courage, and determination to keep going- to keep making even those small, simple steps to return to Him and my Heavenly Father. I am so thankful that He died for me so that I can start each new day fresh.
