My Primary 1 Lesson 27 handout packet includes

  • Family Prayer Circles- I made these with the idea of turning them into something similar to The Climbing Bear. Cut out the two circles and punch two holes in the sides of the children praying one. Grab a piece of yarn and thread a bead to the middle. Then thread the picture onto the pieces of yarn. Attach a bead on each end so it won't fall off. When you attach the bead to something stationary (or have someone hold it) and pull one string at a time, the family praying will climb towards the top. Attach the other circle on top of the bead so it's the family moving closer to heaven.
  • If that's too complicated, turn these circles into necklaces instead.
