Teaching Thoughts

These are a few bonus ideas- keep scrolling for more!

  • To demonstrate the trick Laban played, you can play the mixing cup game where you hid an object under one of three cups then mix them up and see if the person can guess the right one. You can even slip out the object during mixing to really trick them.
  • Play a scripture memory game as well as Honesty Chair as included in The Red Headed Hostess class packet.

My Primary 6 Lesson 14 handouts include

  • Lesson questions with Kaboom strips! After you teach the story, have each person draw a question. If they get it right, they keep the question. If they get it wrong, they put it back in the jar (they can phone a friend first though). If they get a Kaboom strip, they put all their questions back in the jar. It's a great way to really review the story.
