These are a few bonus ideas- keep scrolling for more!
- Hatch Patch has a packet about what a family is. It includes a story, activity, and more.
- This house craft would be fun to do with the kids. You would have to fold them and draw the basic lines ahead of time but the kids could decorate them. You could open and close the house as you repeat the phrase, "I love my family." If you can, putting a photo of each child's family inside would be neat.
- Remember with this age, mini lessons a few times throughout work better. For example- do an opening song based on the family in the beginning. Later do a short portion of the lesson in the manual. After you play for a bit or have a snack, meet together again to do a craft about the family repeating the key phrase.
