We’re taking you all the way to the finish line this time. Instead of sharing just one month of Come, Follow Me and General Conference talk playlists, we’ve gathered every remaining week from August through the end of October into one post. That means you can see exactly how we’ll finish reviewing every talk from April 2026 General Conference alongside the Old Testament chapters you’re already studying.
You’ll want to keep this page bookmarked so you can grab the lists as we go.
Keep it handy, pin it now
Each week includes a conference talk that connects with the Come, Follow Me reading, our explanation of why we paired them together, and a ready-to-go playlist with the scripture chapters and talk already lined up. No hunting down the next chapter. No stopping to find the conference talk. No separate General Conference study plan to keep up with. Just choose the week’s playlist and push play while you drive, walk, exercise, fold laundry, or do whatever else needs doing.
We started creating these playlists for ourselves. We wanted an easy way for our whole family to review the messages from General Conference but didn’t want the whining of ANOTHER scripture study to do. So we simply matched up the talks with each week’s Come, Follow Me chapters instead. Now our family can have access to the playlists. We can listen on the drive to school, they can use it while they do their workouts. It’s easy and comes in handy.
August
Enjoy a few more weeks of great scripture stories like Esther and Job before we jump into the poetry of Psalms this August.
July 27- August 2 (Ezra 1; 3-7; Nehemiah 2; 4-6; 8)
Focus on how we can “Come unto Christ- Together” with Elder Taniela B. Wakolo’s talk. In this week’s readings, the Jewish people have been captives in Babylonia for about 70 years. Many had forgotten God’s law. But, the Lord made a way for His people to return, both to Jerusalem and their covenants. Together, they rebuilt the house of the Lord and the wall around Jerusalem. They had help from one another, the scriptures, and from unexpected sources. Download the playlist.
August 3-9 (Esther)
While President Susan H. Porter mentions the story of Samuel hearing the voice of the Lord in her talk, “‘Hear Am I, Send Me’”, we’re pairing it with the story of Esther. She had the courage to take action when Mordecai reminds her that maybe this is her purpose, to save her people. We can all wake up each with purpose and confidence knowing Christ will walk with us as we walk with Him. Get the playlist of this week’s readings and Conference talk.
August 10-16 (Job 1-3; 12-14; 19; 21-24; 38-40; 42)
Job suffered… a lot. Yet he remained faithful and still declared that Christ was His Redeemer. In “‘Tis Eastertide: No One Walks Alone”, Elder Gerrit W. Gong reminds us that even if we suffer like Job, we need not walk alone. We can indeed abide in Him and He in us. Download this week’s playlist.
August 17-23 (Psalms 1-2; 8; 19-33; 40; 46)
We paired these Psalms with Elder Pedro X. Larreal’s talk, “I Feel My Savior’s Love”. These Pslams are full of praise, trust, refuge, and gratitude. A talk focused on feeling the love of our Savior as we worthily partake of the sacrament shares the same sentiment. Save this playlist.
August 24-30 (Psalms 49-51; 61-66; 69-72; 77-78; 85-86)
You get two talks this week: “I Glory in My Jesus” by Elder Aaron T. Hall (a natural pairing with Psalms) and “Jesus Christ- The True Vine” by Elder Ulisses Soares. You’ll notice a theme of dependence on God and His mercy in this weeks verses. Elder Soares and Elder Hall remind us of the same. Get the playlist.
September
We finish the psalms this month and head into more poetry with Isaiah. Get ready for more goodness.
August 31- September 6 (Psalms 102-3; 110; 116-119; 127-28; 135-139; 146-150)
Elder Ronald A. Rasband’s talk “He Is Risen” is full of praise for Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. So are these psalms. Save this week’s playlist with the scripture chapters and this Conference talk.
September 7-13 (Proverbs 1-4; 15-16; 22; 31; Ecclesiastes 1-3; 11-12)
Elder Educardo F. Ortega emphasizes the daily small personal actions required to faithfully follow the Lord in his talk, “Christ- Author and Finisher of Our Faith”. This week’s Come, Follow Me readings remind us to trust the Lord with all our hearts and to keep the commandments. It’s in our daily living that we follow those teachings. Download the playlist.
September 14-20 (Isaiah 1-12)
We paired Elder Dale G. Renlund’s talk “Because of Jesus Christ” with this week’s Come, Follow Me readings. As we dive into the book of Isaiah, there is one thing you can be certain of- Isaiah testifies of Jesus Christ and points to Him for our salvation. These first few chapters definitely emphasize the repentance we need which is only possible because of Jesus Christ. Get the playlist.
September 21-27 (Isaiah 13-14; 22; 24-30; 35)
This week, turn to Elder Quentin L. Cook’s “Keys, Covenants, and Easter” as we continue in Isaiah. It’s fitting to talk about the keys that were received in the Kirtland temple as we read Isaiah 29 which talks about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Save the playlist.
October
We continue with Isaiah then head into Jeremiah this October. Since we have no way of knowing ahead of time which Conference talks from October’s sessions will match up with Come, Follow Me lessons this month, we continued with April’s.
September 28- October 4 (Isaiah 40-49)
“The Joy of a Covenant Relationship with God” by Elder Theirry K. Mutombo is in this week’s playlist. Isaiah begins with the word “comfort” in chapter 40. Elder Mutombo speaks of that comfort and joy we can receive as we have a covenant relationship with God. Get the playlist.
October 5-11 (Isaiah 50-57)
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf encourages us to gain our own testimony of Jesus Christ as our resurrected Savior. Consider this especially with the description Isaiah gives of our Redeemer in chapter 53. We paired “Eternal Marriage Is an Eternal Journey” by Elder Neil L. Andersen with this week as well because of the symbolism of the marriage covenant in chapter 54. Grab this week’s playlist.
October 12-18 (Isaiah 58-66)
“Ministering- ‘That Ye love One Another; as I Have Loved You’” by Sister Kristin M. Yee pairs with this week’s Come, Follow Me readings thanks to chapter 58’s focus on living our religion in a way that blesses others. Download the playlist.
October 19-25 (Jeremiah 1-3; 7; 16-18; 20)
Lost luggage may not be the first thing you think of when you crack open Jeremiah this week but Elder Gary E. Stevenson’s talk, “Lost Luggage, Redeemed Souls” goes right along with Come, Follow Me. Jeremiah, the prophet, is trying to help people return safely to God before they are spiritually and physically lost. Jeremiah foresaw the gathering of God’s people. Get the playlist.
October 26- November 1 (Jeremiah 31-33; 36-38; Lamentations 1; 3)
We’re ending our April 2026 General Conference study with President Henry B. Eyring’s talk, “Prayers for Peace”. Ezekiel teaches what God can do with broken and hopeless circumstances. President Eyring teaches us how to continually turn to Him in the middle of them. Download this week’s playlist.
And there you have it, the rest of the road from August through October! You don’t need a complicated study schedule or another plan to keep track of. Just come back each week, find the next playlist, and push play. Listen in the car, on a walk, while folding laundry, or whenever you have a few minutes to fill.
If you’ve been following along with us from the beginning, by the end of October you’ll have reviewed every talk from April 2026 General Conference alongside the scriptures you were already studying. And if you’re joining us somewhere in the middle, that’s okay too. Pick up with this week’s playlist and start pressing play. One week, one playlist, and one less thing you have to figure out on your own.
