Time to honor Dad again. Father’s Day is a great holiday to honor all those Dads that do so much good in the world. This year, help your family honor Dad with a homemade candy tie card- quick and easy to make!
Save it for later, pin it now!
Your children can start coloring the shirt and tie card while you cut out the candy wrappers. Print one for each child or design one together. Kick it up a notch and cut a slit at the top of the pocket then insert your family’s photo, a paper tissue flower, or paper handkerchief.
You can use any mini type of candy to decorate the tie. I used Hershey’s Nuggets in the photo but we’ll be using mini Milky Ways for the real day as that’s what Dad likes here. Once you wrap the candy, secure with a piece of tape to the paper. You’ll want to hold it flat still so they won’t come off.
Does your Dad not do candy? No worries, just color the card instead or find something else he will like in mini size. You can even do a textured mosaic with noodles and beans or sand and rocks instead.
