And now that Come, Follow Me is skipping around more in the Old Testament, these playlists are even more useful. You can listen to just the specific chapters listed for the week in one click. Plus we paired one April 2026 General Conference talk with each Old Testament lesson so your study feels more connected and intentional.

Weekly Come Follow Me Playlists for May
There are a handful of Conference talks that could fit almost every single week, but we wanted to work in as many different talks as possible before the next General Conference. So if you’re wondering why we didn’t always choose the most obvious match, that’s why. We wanted to make sure more of the messages had a chance to be studied and revisited.
Click on the playlist you want and save it to your Gospel Library app. You must push the “Save” button to keep it in your playlists on the Gospel Library app. You can’t save playlists from your computer, unfortunately. We also noticed you need to close any other playlists you have open first or it won’t open correctly either.
Playlist for April 27- May 3 “Holiness to the Lord” Exodus 35-40, Leviticus 1; 4; 16; 19
We paired Elder Patrick Kearon’s talk “About His Business” with this talk as Elder Kearon reminds us that we are joining the Savior in His redeeming work as we fulfill our callings. All the rules, sacrifice, etc. at the tabernacle was also done so we can remember our Savior and join Him in His work. The Lord wants us to make our offerings- whether at the temple or as we serve in our callings- with a willing heart.
Playlist for May 4-10 “Rebel Not Ye against the Lord, Neither Fear” Numbers 11-14; 20-24; 27
Elder Michael John U. Teh speaks about following the prophet in his April 2026 Conference talk. It pairs well with this week’s point in Come Follow Me how only the prophet leads God’s church. Elder Teh’s story about how his family strived to more fully embrace the gospel and get rid of traditions that weren’t consistent with the gospel relates well with the Israelites as well.
Playlist for May 11-17 “Beware Lest Thou Forget the Lord” Deuteronomy 6-8; 15; 18; 29-30; 34
“Remember, Remember” by Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong goes well with the warning “Beware lest thou forget the Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:12). A great addition to this week’s study of the Old Testament.
Playlist for May 18-24 “Be Strong and of a Good Courage” Joshua 1-8; 23-24
Elder Edward B. Rowe’s talk “Choose Jesus Christ as Your Guide” ties in with this week’s lesson as we talk about how God will be with us as we are faithful to Him as well as choosing to serve Him instead of other things or people (Joshua 24:15).
Playlist for May 25-31 “The Lord Raised Up a Deliverer” Judges 2-4; 6-8; 13-16
“Come Home” by Elder Clark G. Gilbert works with discussing how the Lord will forgive as often as we repent as well as how we can inspire others to have faith in the Lord.
Five Talks to Keep Turning Back to
There are five talks we’d keep close this season. Study them now, and don’t be surprised when they keep coming back to mind as you keep turning the pages of the Old Testament.
“Because of Jesus Christ” by Elder Dale G. Renlund- Elder Renlund always gives us meaty Conference talks. His talk this time focuses on the Savior, Christ’s infinite Atonement, and what’s possible because of our Redeemer. The message of rescue, repentance, the Messiah, and hope are repeated theme throughout the children of Israel’s journey.
“Choose Jesus Christ as Your Guide” by Elder Edward B. Rowe- This pairs so well with being in the wilderness for 40 years, following the prophet, and those times the children of Israel struggle with decisions.
“Come Home” by Elder Clark G. Gilbert- This talk basically goes well with the books of Judges, Kings, Isaiah, and Jeremiah.
“Remember, Remember” by Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong- Pair this with Deuteronomy, Judges, Kings, and many of the Psalms.
“The Character of Christ” by President D. Todd Christofferson- Pairs well with lessons on leadership, wisdom, and becoming.
