Online shopping is the way to go these days. It makes our lives so much easier (especially since you can earn rewards back with Swagbucks). However, it also means the delivery drivers have a whole lot more to do come Christmas time. Thank your mail carriers in this easy way.
Grab a few snacks (you probably already have some great ones in your pantry) and put them in some sort of container. We used a small metal bucket like this one but even a sturdy box will do. Then print off a Thank You note (see the button at the bottom of this post) to attach to your container and place outside.
We keep our container small so it doesn't draw too much unwanted attention. Keeping it small also makes it easy to put it up high out of the reach of critters. We also bring it in each night before we go to bed to keep things from freezing or getting wet.
Pretty easy, right? We did this last year and our delivery drivers definitely took advantage of it. The Little Debbie snacks went the fastest! We like to keep a variety though so depending on diet and taste preferences, there is at least something for them to enjoy. This year's container also has chips, granola bars, raisins, and little bags of cookies. We always put some cold water bottles out as well.
There are two different Thank You labels you can print (shown in the two pictures above) so you can choose the best one for your container. NEW- I added water bottle labels too! This is one simple way you can #LIGHTtheWORLD.
Pssttt... the extra holly leaves and berries shown in the first photo are a part of my Fill Your Christmas with Christ-like Service kit.
