This year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came out with a new Nativity movie called, “The Christ Child.” The new details in this movie help you understand the story of Christ’s birth in a whole new way. It’s so beautiful and only 18 minutes long you are going to want to share it with your friends! Add a popcorn or other fun movie treat with my free gift tag and share this inspired movie with your neighborhood.
Save it for later, pin it now!
One of the things I love about “The Christ Child” is the explanation of what some things are in the movie. For example, the stable is set inside of the home which is different than most of the depictions we usually see. On ComeuntoChrist.org though it explains how in first-century Jerusalem, the stable we think of in the scriptures might have actually been an interior courtyard or an adjacent cave next to living quarters. It’s likely Jesus was born in a stable of a warm and friendly family home.

Movie Treat Ideas
Popcorn and chocolate raisins
Junior Mints
Licorice
Muddy Buddies
Any of those $1 boxes of candy
Pretzel sticks with M&Ms
A box full of popcorn! The other day, Katelyn from What’s Up Fagans shared how they were surprised with this and how much fun it was (that's her family pictured above)! You can include these cute popcorn bags so it's easy for everyone to fill up their own bag.
Another great vessel for your treats is my free printable #LIGHTtheWORLD bag templates. Print out the Nativity scene or use one of the Christmas star scenes, color it then stuff it full of goodness. Add my label and you are good to go (I actually recommend putting the label on the other side of the bag so you don’t block the Nativity scene like in the photo).
There are two different printables to use. The first page uses “We” while the next page uses “I.” Print the one that is best for you! There is room at the bottom of the note to sign your name as well.
