Looking for a few simple ways to reach out this month? We've gathered some July-themed ministering text prompts and acts of kindness to help you connect in natural, meaningful ways. Pick one or two (or a whole Bingo’s worth) that fit your sisters, your schedule, and your style. A small gesture or thoughtful message can brighten someone's entire week.

Don’t Keep It to Yourself, Share It

Simple Texts to Send

Send a super simple text right now. Staying connected helps your ministering sisters know they have someone to turn to when they need it. Here’s some prompts to get you started:

  • What has been the highlight of your summer so far?

  • Be honest. Are you thriving, surviving, or hiding from your children this week? 😆

  • What's one thing you're looking forward to in July?

  • Quick poll: popsicles, ice cream, or watermelon?

  • What book, show, or podcast have you been enjoying this summer?

  • What's one thing on your summer bucket list and how can I help you cross it off?

  • Want to meet at a park and let the kids run wild while we visit?

  • Walk and talk this week?

  • I’m bringing my lawn chair over. Let’s sit and chat and watch the sun set/drink lemonade/while the kids play.

  • Ice cream sometime this week?

  • If your summer had a theme song, what would it be? This is mine.

  • Which summer job would you rather have: lifeguard, camp counselor, or ice cream truck driver?

  • What's the funniest thing that's happened at your house lately?

Acts of Kindness

Don’t stop with texting though. Visit, plan some acts of kindness, and become their true friend. Here’s some fun ideas for July.

Need a little extra reminder to minister? Life is busy, print out a Bingo board to help remind you to reach out and keep ministering. Use our prefilled board or make your own with our blank template.

P.S. These are also great to use during ministering interviews- gives people some inspiration to get unstuck and start reaching out.
