The purpose of teaching LDS Primary 2 Lesson 34: Always Tell the Truth is to learn to tell the truth even when it's not easy.
These are a few bonus ideas- keep scrolling for more!
There are a few different object lessons about honesty you could use depending on what you think would be best for your class. Here's one with stacked cups from Apples 4 Bookworms, one with coins from The Corner on Character, and one with ice cream from Over the Big Moon.
The Learning Activity from A Year of FHE goes great with the spider theme below. Try it with your class!
There is a Tell the Truth spinner game included in the Red Headed Hostess class packet.

My Primary 2 Lesson 34 handout packet includes
Spider web with numbered spiders to help you play the "Tell the Truth" game in the manual. The numbered spiders go with each number situation. Have class member pick a spider from the web then tell them the scenario. If they get it correct, they untangled the spider; if not, it goes back on the web. I left some spiders blank if you want to add more or play a little differently. You could use fake spider web and spiders instead.
Handout to encourage honesty. Attach plastic spider rings in the web of the handout as a reminder for the children to wear during the week.
Like these helps? Pin it so others can find them too!
