Lesson 45: The Gift of the Atonement (Easter)

Primary 6 Lesson 45: The Gift of the Atonement (Easter)- The purpose of this lesson is to understand that it is through the Atonement that we each may receive the gifts of immortality and eternal life.

Don't worry if you didn't catch this lesson for Easter, it goes great for Christmas too.

The Savior Suffers in Gethsemane (about 8 1/2 minutes)- Bible video of Jesus, Peter, James, and John in the Garden

Reclaimed (about 3 1/2 minutes)- I love this one- just as an old dump can be reclaimed, so can we.

Special Witness (about 2 1/2 minutes)- Elder Holland shares his testimony of the Atonement

My Primary 6 Lesson 45 handouts include

  • Cards to go with Enrichment Activity 2. Lay them all out on the ground and see if your class can match them up without your help. You can even split into two times and see who gets them all correct first.
  • Cards to go with the Prophecy and Fulfillment Enrichment Activity. You can do it like a matching game but add in the action cards from Fire Sweeper to make it extra fun!
