Stockings are my favorite part of Christmas morning—the little surprises, the cozy chaos, and that feeling of discovering something thoughtful tucked inside. But as every mom knows, filling those stockings can get tricky fast. One “just a few small things” trip to the store somehow turns into a cart full of extras and a dent in the budget. That’s why we’ve rounded up useful, fun, and affordable stocking stuffers that help your family celebrate without going completely overboard. These are the kinds of little gifts that make Christmas morning sparkle without leaving you regretting your receipt pile later.
- If you’ve been looking for a facial roller, grab this jade stone one. Use it cool to perk up your complexion or heat it under warm water to alleviate stress.
- If someone you know has a sensitive head then they'll want this gentle glide detangling brush. I got one for my teenage daughter a few years ago and she definitely appreciates it.
- I'm always going to put chapstick in my stock (I prefer Candy Cane myself). This pack of holiday chapstick flavors makes it easy to give everyone their own unique one. PLUS add our free printable wrappers to point your family back to Jesus Christ.
- Whether you are encouraging a future missionary or cheering them on as they serve, these missionary figurines are super cute and fit the budget.
- On a different mission now? For that one Christmas when your child is engaged or newly married, this wedding couple is a cute addition. It comes with several hair and skin tone options too so you can customize them just the way you want.
- We found two Book of Mormon characters you can add to your family's stockings too- Captian Moroni (which comes with a horse) and Ammon (which comes with a sheep).
- If you love a puzzle and a little Come Follow Me reinforcement, this word search book is a great option as we get ready to study the Old Testament in the new year. One puzzle a week to go along with your Come Follow Me lessons.
- Prefer to listen to your scriptures? Listen and color with this Old Testament coloring book (same author as the word search books). It's intended for adults, not kids so keep that in mind but it coordinates with each week's Come Follow Me lesson... or at least it did in 2022 and I imagine it should line up pretty well for 2026.
Adding chocolate to their stockings? Add our Nativity Wrappers to the bottom for a simple way to bring it back to why we celebrate Christmas. Includes a scripture study guide too making it easy to hold a quick Christmas morning devotional.
Looking for even more faith-filled stocking stuffer ideas? We’ve got you covered with a whole list of finds.
- Know someone that always needs something in their hands? These NeeDoh nice cubes are a great sensory squish toy at just the right size without a bunch of annoying noises. Need something with more texture? Try the fuzz ball instead.
- If you have trouble deciding what to make for dinner or where to go out to eat, then this unique cube is for you. Just roll and get going.
- Can you throw it? Then it may just be for your son. The Nerf Vortex Aero Howler Foam ball is a fun ball to toss around as it flies well and far plus it's just different than your typical ball.
- My daughter just got one of these jewelry travel cases and she's ecstatic. They are super convenient for travel but also great in your bedroom. Totally stocking stuffer worthy. Add a cute CTR ring or faith necklace to give it extra dazzle.
- My daughter also bites her nails so she paints them so she won't. She loves a glitter splash and they are definitely great in a stocking. While you're at it though, pick up some nail primer so they stay painted pretty longer.
- These personalized makeup bags are handy whether your child is off to college soon or you just need to keep things straight in the bathroom. Add some new makeup brushes inside for an extra surprise.

- Is it just us that goes through so many bandages? We save the extra cool ones, like Wellys, for stockings every year. It's an easy way to fill them up, make them useful, and shake up the normal routine. Our kids used to swap bandages like you swap candy after trick or treating. And don't worry, if you aren't into dinosaurs, Welly has a ton of other designs.
- Another classic is Mad Libs. I don't think you get too old to enjoy these laughs. Plus, they are flexible enough to circle up into your stockings.
- Okay, the sock pack is more than $10 but you get 12 pairs making them less than $1.50 each. My teen sons love the monster goofy faces ones as well as these animal ones. Sometimes it's hard to find appropriate socks in a bundle- they try to sneak one in that's not so great but we like these. And if you didn't know, the mismatching sock trend is still very much a thing so go ahead and mix them up before you give them.
- Socks aren't the only fun your feet can have, give your shoes a glow up with new colorful laces. They totally bring new life to an old pair of shoes.
- Now that their feet are taken care of, go out and fly some paper airplanes. Fold 100 cool looking paper airplanes with this Usborne book. It's a blast.
- Whether you like grilling or you just need a reliable thermometer next time you are roasting a chicken, this meat thermometer reads quickly, is easy to clean, and stores well. Great for your spouse or yourself.
- Another useful gift for your family are blue light glasses. This pack includes six pairs making it easy to slip one into everyone's stocking. Plus, they are cheap enough that if you accidentally sit on them, it's not the end of the world.
- Sometimes stocking stuffer tools are iffy but we were pleasantly surprised at how handy this univeral socket has been. Great addition for someone that needs just the right size without buying a million tools. And if you are sending someone off to live by themselves for the first time, this multi tool is nice to have around.
- As your kids get older, they definitely need their own set of manicure tools. This handy set comes in a case and with two sizes of clippers which comes in handy.
- Once your sons are old enough to wield a knife, they love every knife they get- at least mine do! They sure come in handy on camping trips.
- If you or your kids hate flyaways, this hair wax and tools are super helpful in taming them.
- In a world where everything is connected to the internet, it's actually refreshing to have a watch that's not (especially now that school's are cracking down on things). This simple watch is great for telling time but also is helpful as a timer. You can actually find quite a few watches at about $9.99 each so if you need something with more color, just look around.
- If you have a writer in the family, these thesaurus books are super helpful. There's one for negative traits, emotions, etc. And if you buy the Kindle version, they are under $10 each.
- Mystery Mosaics are a great way to keep your kids busy (even during Stake conference). Your kids will love unveiling the hidden image.

- Know someone that could use an extra dose of calm at work? Add this sandscape to their gift list. It's memorizing and doesn't break the bank.

- A 3-year your journal your kids will love, this one question a day book is such a great way to see how they've grown over the years without being overwhelming.
- One of my favorite ways to cutting stocking stuffer costs is by using these refillable candy cane tubes. Stock up on candy after Halloween or grab their actual preferred candy. Split this 25 pack with some friends and spread the joy. It works out to be just over $1 each for years of use. And since you'll be using them for years, you can even personalize the tubes with their names or other fun decor.
- Dinosaur chicken nuggies- what is the fascination? Whatever it is, your kids will love the pillow version. Get the 3 pack and each pillow comes out just over $8 each, get the 5 pack and it's about $5.40 each. Of course, they won't fit inisde your stocking but they do look cute next to it.
