Here’s a little bit about these great men.
President Dallin H. Oaks
He thought he was the “dumbest boy in the world” when he was younger because he had a lot of problems in school after his dad died and he moved in with his grandparents. At the time he didn’t realize it was because of his grief.
He later graduated from BYU with high honors and furthered his education at the University of Chicago Law School.
President Oaks was the eighth president of Brigham Young University where he oversaw the start of the J. Reuben Clark Law School.
He was sustained as an Apostle on April 7, 1984, but due to his judicial commitments, he was not ordained until May 3, 1984.

President Henry B. Eyring
He has been the president of Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho).
Graduated as the top ROTC cadet in his class from the University of Utah and served with distinction in the United States Air Force.
His uncle was President Spencer W. Kimball (the 12 president of the Church).
He did not serve a full-time mission due to restrictions because of the Korean War. Instead, he served as a district missionary in the Western States Mission during the evenings and weekends during his military service.
President D. Todd Christofferson
He participated in the Hill Cumorah Pageant two times as a teen.
When Elder Christofferson was 13 years old, his mom had cancer and needed significant surgery. While the surgery was successful, it limited her ability to do some household tasks. Elder Christofferson knew his mom loved homemade bread so he started to make it regularly for his family until he went to college.
While born in Utah, he spent many of his teenage years growing up in New Jersey where he was the only Church member in his high school class.
As a lawyer, he assisted Judge Sirica throughout the Watergate proceedings.
