Your neighbor has the flu, your friend is feeling overwhelmed; there has got to be something you can do without going crazy yourself. Spread a little love through these two simple acts of service.
Every month, I'm sharing simple service ideas that you can totally do even if your life is chaotic or you are going through cancer treatments like me. These ideas are completely doable! After all, everyone feels better after an act of service. Check out 5 more of my ideas to keep you serving all year long.
Take a Little Off Their Plate
Paper plates are such a great gift for so many different people- parents of a new baby, the overwhelmed, the sad, and the sick. And the best part- no special diets to worry about! Ultimately, any act of service is not only about helping out but expressing love for each other. If it turns out they already have a stack of paper plates, don't worry. They will eventually use yours and they will feel your love. These tags come in three different styles and all say, "Hope this takes a little off your plate." I like to buy a giant thing of paper plates so I can easily grab some whenever I need (and some napkins too).
Blow Well Wishes Their Way
A friend was publicly thanking those that had served them while they had the flu and mentioned the kindness of dropped off tissues. Such a great idea, right?! We always have Kleenex on hand thanks to Amazon Subscribe and Save (seriously, don't you love having things like this delivered to your door?) I had to make tags right away. These tags focus on the blowing your sick or allergic friends will be doing. Print the tags you like and attach it to a box to drop off.
Keep a few tags printed out at all times next to your tissues or paper plates so when the prompting comes all you have to do is grab, assemble, and go!
