Use them on Christmas Eve before you read Luke 2, for a virtual church activity, or any time! It’s a great way to shine a little light at Christmas time.
Save it for later, pin it now!
Nativity Guess Who Version 1
Print and cut out the six clue cards. Each clue card has 5 clues. If you guess who the person described after the first clue you receive one point. If you guess it on the third clue, you get three points, and so on. The scoring is like golf- the lowest score wins!
After you play, make your own cards and do it again. Make cards about the other events around Christmas time like a Nephite Christmas, choose one of your favorite scripture stories, or see if you can describe one of the many miracles Jesus performed while on earth.
Nativity Guess Who Version 2
This time everyone gets a card taped onto their back with a person (or animal) that participated in the Christmas story. After everyone has a card on their back (no peeking at what it says), go around the room and ask Yes or No questions to figure out what card is on your back.
Do it virtually by reversing the roles. Send everyone privately who their character is. Everyone else now has to guess who it is by asking Yes or No questions.
Make it easier for younger ones- after they ask their Yes or No question, they can receive one clue.
After everyone guesses who they are, ponder who your card’s character might have felt when our Savior was born. Share your guesses and scripture references to support your theory with each other.
Turn your Guess Who card into a scripture study after you play. Using the Topical Guide, Guide to the Scriptures, and other great scripture references at ChurchofJesusChrist.org read more about your character. Write your notes in the blank space on the cards.
Playing these Nativity Guess Who games can help you #LIGHTtheWORLD too! Invite your friends and neighbors to play with you too!
