This Pioneer Day (July 24), work on your creative skills with these fun crafts from pioneer times. Our favorite part- they don’t take many supplies and they really aren’t too complicated. Chances are, you can make a lot of them with things around your house. So grab your family and get creating!
Save it for later, pin it now!
You’ll find instructions to do each of the following crafts plus templates in our free printable:
Cross Stitch- Designed to say, “Be like a Pioneer” with a beehive
Thaumatrope- super fun and doesn’t take much skill
Rag dolls- only need three things
Scrap Rug- Got old shirts?
Each printable instruction card will tell you what supplies you will need. If you are doing some of these for a church activity night or a friend get together, be sure to print off enough instruction cards for people to take home with them. They come in handy whether they need to finish their project at home or want to teach their families how to make it too.
