Looking for a great coloring sheet for General Conference? Here’s one that features 15 people you know will speak (well, most of the time). Learn the names of the members of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and recognize them come General Conference weekend. Get the free printable at the bottom of this post (it’s a blue button).
UPDATED! We have now adjusted it for the new First Presidency with President Oaks as well as the newest apostle, Elder Gérald Caussé.
Save it for later, pin it now!
Each person is listed in order of seniority except for the First Presidency. They are listed at the top with President Dallin H. Oaks in the top middle, the first counselor, President Henry B. Eyring on the left and the second counselor, President D. Todd Christofferson on the right. FYI- if you want to track their seniority, President Eyring is after President Holland and President Christofferson is after Elder Cook. We also have a coloring page of just the new First Presidency for your family or church class to enjoy.
Ways to Use Our Apostles Sheet
There are more than one way to do things. Try some of these ideas:
- Color each speaker after their talk during General Conference. It’s a great way to countdown to the end as well as keep looking forward to those who haven’t spoken yet.
- Add sticky note markers over the names and test your family’s knowledge. Can they name all the living apostles and prophets? Flip the note to check answers.
- Print two copies and play Guess Who? Use 2x2 sticky notes to cover each frame when you eliminate them as the answer.
- Color and hang it up in your living room as a reminder that we believe in living prophets and that God talks to us today.
- Make matching puppets and learn a little more about each member.
Play “Don’t Eat the Prophet!” which is really “Don’t Eat Pete!”
Track your review of these speaker’s General Conference talks. Color the person in when you’ve read their talk as a family. When you color all the ones in a row, go out for a fun family outing. Tracking just the apostles helps it not be so overwhelming while also forming a great habit.
Talk about how the church is organized into quorums, classes, etc. by starting with these two groups.
Share what it means to be an apostle of Jesus Christ. Here’s an a great article from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about apostles then and now. Also check out their social media accounts. Several share what their days look like at home and abroad as they share goodness and preach of Christ. Start with Elder David A. Bednar and Elder Neil A. Andersen.

Add more fun to your General Conference weekend with our activity books, coloring, and fun notebooks. Your family will love them.
