Printing on paper sacks is easy. Print out our template first (see the blue button at the bottom of this post) then attach your paper bag with tape on the ends. Feed it back in your printer and presto chango, you have a masterpiece waiting to be used. There will be spots it won’t print as well since paper bags come with folds and wrinkles but you should see the majority of your design printed clearly. You might also like our Popcorn from Our Apricot Tree lunch bag design too.

Use our General Conference snack bags in one of the following fun ways.

Snack Necklace Kit

Our first design is for a DIY snack necklace. These come in handy because it’s first an activity then a snack for kids to enjoy. Be careful with your length of yarn though as you can get tangled. Prep the yarn then add in the snacks. We’ve done these for years in our home and here’s a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Make the bulk non sugary treats. You’ll thank me later.

  • Add a pretzel to the end of your yarn to get things started. It’s a great stopper and it’s easier to tie the necklace off once it’s done.

  • Cover the other end of the yarn with a little bit of masking tape to make it easier to string your food.

  • Any foods with holes work. Keep in mind the size of the hole and length of the item. You want things short and easy to thread so it’s really easy to string. You also want it to not make a mess so skip those powdered doughnuts. Our favorites through the years have been cereal (something like Fruit Loops. Cheerios are too small), pretzels, gummy rings, and gummy Lifesavers.

  • Invite your kids to show off their necklace to you when done and snap a photo. It’s a great way to document your family through the years.

  • Save it for the later sessions. You know when your kids get restless most. That’s the perfect time to break these out.

Remember to Watch Reminder

Drop some bags off with your ministering families or church classes. It’s a simple way to remind them to watch General Conference and give them something to look forward to. You can add how to watch directions on the back of the bag if they are unfamiliar.

Have a child living on their own? Send them their own General Conference snack box. Print off a couple of bags and add their favorite snacks to a box and ship it their way. It’s a great way to remind them to tune in as well as an excuse to stock them up a little.

Spoil Your Spouse

An easy way to show some love to your spouse. Buy their favorite goodies and make their own snack bag. Our second design makes it easy to give to anyone. Tip: If there were treats they never got to eat as a kid, sneak some in the bag. You may not even buy those for your kids but your spouse will definitely feel extra special. Add a beverage too for some extra love.
