Sticky Notes to Help You Prep for General Conference

Help your family prepare for General Conference with these free printable sticky notes. We all know you get out of Conference what you put in. These little sticky notes are the perfect combo of reminding your family without having to nag.

Printing on sticky notes isn’t as hard as it looks but it does take a little bit of figuring out. First, you need to understand how your printer works. Put an X in the top right corner of a test page. How does it come out? What side are things printed on? This will help you understand how to put your paper back in to get everything printed just right. Once you understand your printer, you’ll want to print even more on sticky notes. It’s so much fun! The pop of color that come with sticky notes are part of the fun for sure. Any 3x3 sticky notes will work. Here are my favorites:
- Post-its are definitely my favorite brand to use. This 6 pack of colors is one of my favorite combos to use. The printed text shows up nicely and they pop without being blinding.
- If you prefer more sublte tones, try a multi-pack like this one instead. Wide variety means you can print them a couple of times. How long do you think it will take before your family realizes that some of them are the same?
- If you like bold colors, try this one that includes red and green which also comes in handy come Christmas.
Post these sticky notes all around your house to help remind your family that we get to hear the voice of the Lord through His servants soon. Put them in high traffic areas. Here are some of my favorites:
The door to the garage (either side)
The cupboard where you keep the plates and bowls
A bathroom mirror
The wall across from the toilet
On someone’s scriptures
In a shoe
On the microwave door
On their journal
It’s a gentle reminder to your family that watching General Conference is more than simply turning on the right channel at the right time. If we want to receive answers to questions we have, we need to put in the effort to receive them. Some notes are intended to help them pay attention more to how they feel the Spirit while others remind them to act on the invitations our prophet has given.
