More Ways You Can Put General Conference Coloring Pages to Good Use
Remember! There all sorts of great ways you can put these coloring pages to use in your home or at church:
Cut them into puzzle pieces and have your family assemble it on a Sunday afternoon as they try to guess the talk. Then review as you color it together.
Cover the quote part of the page and ask your family or class what quote from the talk they would choose to put with the image. Then show which quote I picked. Which do you like better? Why?
Color one and send it to a relative! It’s a great way to share some love and an uplifting message.
Bring a few pages for your ministering families. Let the children pick their favorites then review the talks together.
Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf surprised us all when he used “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien in his talk, “Your Great Adventure.” The resulting memes have been fabulous. For this coloring page, I threw in some of the adventurous things the hobbit ran into on his journey. The adventure is this earthly life as we are trying to go back again to Heavenly Father’s presence. One of the things Elder Uchtdorf encourages us to do on our adventure is to invite others to go with us! “Let’s take this adventure together!” is one of the things Elder Uchtdorf recommends we share with our friends.

Do you remember the story of the teenager who went to the United States to learn English at his uncle’s house? That was Elder Rubén V. Alliaud. In his talk, “Found through the Power of the Book of Mormon” he relates how his uncle had 200 copies of the Book of Mormon in the room he stayed in while in the States. I really want to know why his uncle had 200 copies! Elder Alliaud read one of the Spanish copies and discovered for himself that the Book of Mormon is true. There is no better way to express the power of the Book of Mormon and it’s ability to convert people to the Lord then Moroni 10:4.
Lehi’s dream was mentioned a few times in this General Conference. Elder Neil L. Andersen focused on the fruit of the tree of life in his talk, “Fruit.” He discussed how we all need to be feasting on the fruit of the tree of life. However, he also acknowledged the distractions and deceptions of the adversary. He stated,
“In our world today, the adversary’s construction crews are working overtime, hastily inflating the large and spacious building. The expansion has spread across the river, hoping to envelop our homes, while the pointers and the scoffers wail day and night on their internet megaphones.”
Then he encouraged us to be on guard and not let the adversary sneak upon us. Since we were studying Ephesians at the time, it reminded me of us being fully suited up while eating the fruit. There is a boy and girl version of this coloring page.
Pssttt… bring out some glitter glue, googly eyes, and other fun things to jazz up your coloring pages.

In the Women’s session, Sister Reyna I. Aburto opened with her talk, “Thru Cloud and Sunshine, Lord, Abide with Me!” She shared how when she was in an airplane, they were above the clouds. The sun was shining and it was beautiful. However, as they descended, they were enveloped in the darkness under the clouds. Sometimes, that’s how it can feel for us. It’s hard to see the sunshine and remember it’s still there. However, as she pointed out:
Your struggles do not define you, but they can refine you.
