Ready for some quick and easy Gospel Fun? Enjoy this fun Finish the Tale game! It’s a church-focused storytelling game sure to bring smiles and plenty of laughter. Play it at your next Family Home Evening!
Save it for later, pin it now!
How to Play
Pick one person to be the narrator. This person is the only one that can see the whole story. However, don’t actually read it right now. The narrator only looks at the blank spaces and asks people in the group to name the missing pieces. Everyone can shout their suggestions at once and the narrator picks his favorite OR take turns going around the room.
The “person” blank spaces in this story are the same person over and over. Go ahead and fill in all the person spaces once you have that answer.
The “plural marine animal” space is also the same both times.
Once all the blanks are filled in, read the story out loud and enjoy the craziness!
Tie this fun game into the gospel by discussing the importance of accurate record keeping as well as keeping your own personal history. See 3 Nephi 3:23:6-14 for a great story to help emphasize this point. Kick off your record keeping with my fun twist on a gratitude journal or your own family time capsule.
