The D stands for David.
President Christofferson served a mission in Argentina.
He participated in the Hill Cumorah Pageant two times as a teen.
When President Christofferson was 13 years old, his mom had cancer and needed significant surgery. While the surgery was successful, it limited her ability to do some household tasks. President Christofferson knew his mom loved homemade bread so he started to make it regularly for his family until he went to college.
While born in Utah, he spent many of his teenage years growing up in New Jersey where he was the only Church member in his high school class.
Elder Richard G. Scott (former apostle) was his mission president.
As a lawyer, he assisted Judge Sirica throughout the Watergate proceedings.
He was also part of the U.S. Army.
As a boy, he helped care for his family’s flock of sheep.
Before becoming an apostle, he was serving in the Presidency of the Seventy.
