Weekly Come Follow Me Playlists

Each week, we gathered all the chapters listed in the Old Testament Come Follow Me manual plus added at least one General Conference talk from October 2025. If there wasn’t a lot of reading, we also added the talks referenced in the manual that week. Our goal is to always have at least five days worth with no more than seven. Talks are always listed after the scripture readings. Click on the playlist you want and add it to your Gospel Library app.

Please note: You can’t view playlists on a computer- only in the Gospel Library app.

Want to make changes to the playlist? You can create your own playlist then quickly add the ones you want from ours. See our Helpful Tips post though at the bottom of this post for more.

Just the General Conference Additions

Want just my recommended October 2025 General Conference playlist for January instead? It makes a great personal study if you can’t do it with your whole family. Note: We didn’t do the intro week since we posted this late in the week of the first lesson.

January Come Follow Me Recent General Conference Talks Playlist

  • “Know Who You Really Are” by Elder Brik V. Eyre- Pairs well with Moses 1 and Abraham 3 (Jan 5-11) as we talk about Moses and how we are all children of God. Get the free printable study sheet too.

  • “Jesus Christ and Your New Beginning” by Elder Patrick Kearon- Paris well with a discussion of the creation. Our world got a new beginning and so can we (Jan 12-18). Print the free study sheet.

  • “Be Reconciled to God” by Elder Kelly R. Johnson- Goes with the lesson about the fall, agency, and redemption the week of January 19-25. Grab the free study helps.

  • “Forsake Not Your Own Mercy” by Elder Matthew S. Holland- Okay, this talks a lot about Jonah but Elder Holland also specifically talks about the Fall and having a testimony of it (Jan 19-25). The story of Jonah, of course, has great symbolism with the Fall and Christ’s Atonement and the Resurrection so it enjoy it now and revisit it when we get to the book of Jonah too. Get the review helps.

  • “The Family-Centered Gospel of Jesus Christ” by President Dallin H. Oaks reminded us of the last lesson of the month which technically is under February (Jan 26- Feb 1) but that’s a sneak attack so we put it here for your convenience. This week’s lesson talks about teaching our children the gospel of Jesus Christ. President Oaks talks about learning in our families. We combined his with Elder Rasband’s talk who also spoke about families into one great review sheet.

  • “Look to God and Live” by President D. Todd Christofferson is also a great choice for Jan 26- Feb 1 as Enoch learns to look to God to overcome his weaknesses and teaches his people to turn to God as well. Review his talk and ponder with our free printable helps.

Want the ultimate General Conference list instead? This playlist includes talks from older sessions of General Conference that were mentioned in the manual. We put everything in order of the Come Follow Me lessons plus the talks listed above and did include talks for the first intro week.

Behold Your Little Ones Recommendations

If you have really little ones, we’ve found these lessons work well for each week. We linked to our lesson helps below too.

Create Your Own Playlist

Want to make your own playlist instead? You can combine all the lists together and make your own ultra ultimate playlist for January or add in some Book of Mormon chapters. We’ve learned a few things as we’ve created these playlists that you’ll want to read first though.

  1. Go to the resource you want directly first THEN add it to your playlist. When you try to simply search Exodus 3 as you build your playlist for example, there are about 10 versions you can pick from (because the Church has so many resources) and you have no idea which is the right one until you go listen to it. It’s much easier to find what you really want first then click on the the dots at the top right (at least on my Android) and add it to the playlist that way. If you want to add the resources in our playlist first, click on the three dots next to the resource you want to add. If it doesn’t let you add directly from there, click “Go to Content” then add it to your playlist.

  2. You can’t add specific verses, you have to do the whole chapter at a time.

  3. You can rearrange your home screen and put your playlists at the top for easy access.

  4. You can also rearrange your playlist once you have everything added. Simply open your playlist then click the three dots in the top right (again, at least on my Android). Click edit then you can drag the readings around as needed.

  5. To share your playlist, click on the dot menu again for the share button. We’ve loved sharing with at least our spouse since we read with different kids each day at different times. This way, we’re at least all reading the same thing. When someone downloads your playlist, they can’t make changes to it but they can enjoy it.

Be sure to check out the rest of our Old Testament Resources too.
